About Us

Paul was the eighth child born to Edward and Lenore Kaczmarek. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on August 27, 1968, and spent the first six years of his life in Toronto and Port Colbourne, Ontario. When Paul was six years old, his family moved to Newfoundland, where he lived until he was nineteen. In 1987 Paul’s family moved to Espanola, Ontario, where his parents live to this day. Paul currently resides in Brampton, Ontario.

It was a born-again Christian family Paul was born into, and the Bible was the center of the home. As a result, the teachings of the Word of God had a profound influence on his life. Paul’s parents were daily in the Word, and his father often called family prayer time and devotions where his mother would read from the Bible and all were encouraged to pray. Gospel music was also at the forefront of his home, and lively gospel music played often on the stereo. Whenever there was sickness at home or someone was not feeling well, his mother or father would always be there to call on the name of Jesus, believing that God still hears and answers prayer.

Anointed preaching also had a profound impact on young Paul’s life, not only from sermons preached at church but also from the television evangelistic programs of preachers such as Oral Roberts, Billy Graham, Jimmy Swaggart, and Rex Humbard.

At the age of nine, Paul received Jesus as his personal Savior at a church service held in his house by Sister Alva Brant (known to many as Aunty Babe). He was baptized in the Holy Spirit at the age of twenty-one at the Prayer Palace on Jane Street in Toronto, Canada. At the age of thirty-four, Paul met Kathleen Hobbs at Queensway Cathedral in Toronto, Ontario. Soon after, the Lord revealed the long-awaited news that this young lady was to be his wife! The two were married on August 9, 2003, and have two wonderful sons, Aaron Samuel and Jonathan Nathanael.

Paul is an ordained pastor since 2019 under the covering of the Independent Assemblies of God International (Canada), a fellowship of Christian ministers and churches. Paul currently pastors at The Upper Room Fellowship which is located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. He is also a singer, songwriter, and musician.

Kathleen Kaczmarek is a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Her heart is to expose the deception that legalism is and to help bring freedom to the body of Christ in that area. Kathleen also deeply desires for God's people to know that God is willing and able to deliver them from the deepest despair if only they will place their trust in Him.

Kathleen is the author of The Law of Redemption: What Must One Do to Go to Heaven? Throughout the pages of her book, Kathleen candidly shares her testimony of how she fell into legalism, her struggles, her confusion, and how God supernaturally and graciously stepped in and delivered her. Through this book, her goal is to expose legalism (the religion of dead works), teach faith through love, and present the liberating truth of the grace of God as both the unmerited favor of God and the power of God to live holy.

Kathleen is a 1999 graduate of the University of Laval, Québec, Canada, in Actuarial Sciences. She became a Christian in 2001 and, shortly after, received a call from God to preach the gospel. Kathleen is an ordained minister since 2019 under the covering of the Independent Assemblies of God International (Canada), a fellowship of Christian ministers and churches. Kathleen accepts speaking engagements internationally. Her home church, The Upper Room Fellowship, is located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada where she ministers as the assistant pastor and worship leader.

Kathleen has been happily married to Paul Kaczmarek since August 9, 2003, and has two handsome sons, Aaron Samuel and Jonathan Nathanael.
